It's been a little while since we let you get to know our staff members – and in the meantime, we have added a few new faces to the mix!
Get to know our newest team members, Alexis, Elli and Damon, below.
Alexis Kanats
What's your role?
I mainly work in the logistics department at Cheeta as a Logistics Assistant and occasionally assist with graphic design.
What do you bring to the team?
I bring my consistency and dedication...and my funny weekend stories.
What are you involved with outside of Cheeta?
I'm an artist, so I usually go to my studio or to galleries when I'm not working.
What's your top travel destination and why?
My top travel destination would be Prague - my family is from the Czech Republic, so I love returning and spending time with them!
Anything else we can learn about you?
I love reading and watching films, especially experimental fiction.
Elli Kritos
What's your role?
Warehouse Logistics/ Assistant Design
What do you bring to the team?
I'm always happy to tackle various tasks with a fun and bubbly attitude and by bringing versatility to the role.
What are you involved with outside of Cheeta?
I enjoy creative pursuits such as sewing garments from old vintage patterns, and I've got a knack for cooking and baking all sorts of goodies!
What's your top travel destination and why?
I've always wanted to visit Japan! Everything from the culture to the food intrigues me. It looks like such a beautiful country, not to mention the many cat cafes as well.
Anything else we can learn about you?
When I was 7, I was gifted season 1 of The Brady Bunch on DVD. After watching the first episode, I was hooked. I even started wearing my hair like Marcia Brady (side part, two pigtails) throughout year two and for my school photos. I now love collecting kitsch bric-a-brac, and my dream kitchen is orange and wood laminate.
Damon Jennings
What's your role?
Business Development Manager
What do you bring to the team?
A genuine passion and energy for expanding and growing the Cheeta brand into new industries and areas. I also bring an enthusiastic approach to customer experience and building client relationships.
What are you involved with outside of Cheeta?
Outside of Cheeta, you'll be able to find me chasing around my two young kids, which keep my partner and me very busy. You can find me passionately watching local, domestic, or overseas soccer in any spare time. I'm also a keen golfer, and currently beginning my training to run my second marathon.
What's your top travel destination and why?
My current top travel destination is to spend a Winter Christmas in the snow with my young family.
Anything else we can learn about you?
I, alongside a group of friends, run a podcast about soccer where we talk about everything and anything going on in the world of soccer.
